This year has been full of many projects and activities. The
students are finishing their Create A- Country project this
week and the final culmination is on Thursday, November 15th. Parents are welcome to come from 8:30 to 9:45 that day. Please remind them to dress up in their country's 'traditional' outfit for that day as well to bring a traditional food example. (Ask your child to tell you about their project research and speech) Next Monday, November 12th, we will not have school in honor of our amazing Veterans! In
math, the students are creating math game boards to
review all of the concepts that we have learned since the
beginning of the year. In reading, we have started a new
book called Running Out of Time.
We will also be having a class auction next week where the students can purchase real things with their 'Fisler Bucks". I spend a lot of my own money getting things for the
students for the auction and would love some help from
parents this year since I have such a big class. If you could
donate any small items that a 5th grade boy or girl
would like that would be wonderful. I plan on having the auction next Friday, November 16th so if you could send in
it before or on that date, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!!!!
